Create reusable email templates with dynamic fields to streamline client communication
Overview
OneSuite’s email templates allow you to create pre-written email drafts that can be reused across client and contact communications. Templates support dynamic fields – variables that automatically populate with relevant data when composing an email.
Creating an Email Template
To create a new email template:
- Go to General Settings from the main menu.
- Navigate to Inbox Space.
- Click on Email Templates.
- Click Create New Template.

- Enter a name for the template.
- Write the email body. Use the dynamic fields available to insert variables such as client name, company, and other relevant data that will auto-populate when the template is used.
- Click Send or Save as draft.

Note: You must create at least one email template before the template option becomes available when composing emails.
Using a Template When Composing an Email
Once templates have been created, you can apply them when composing an email from any People, Companies, or Clients record:
- Open a record in People, Companies, or Clients.
- Click on the Emails tab on the right side of the record.
- Click Compose.
- In the compose window, select the template you want to use from the Email Templates dropdown.
- The template will populate the email body. Review and edit the content as needed before sending.

Summary
Email templates reduce repetitive writing and help maintain consistent communication with clients. Create templates from General Settings > Inbox Space > Email Templates, and apply them from any CRM record’s email compose window.
